Seems my last crash has buckled my rear wheel. :weep:
The wobble is noticeable but no major rim damage. There was small rim bulge when I bought it but nothing major.
Would adjusting the spokes help pull back into line? Does anyone know options I can look at or even approximate costs.
Thanks

Checked the wheel bearings?
Yes they are all good and no movement. Had to take wheel off the bike to change chain and sprockets etc. When spinning the wheel it now "swivels" from left to right when spun.

I don't know what extra wear it causes on the bearings/drivetrain , but if any of the spokes are loose, you run the risk of bending the rim even more if you take a hit on the wrong spot (to the point of the wheel jamming against the swinger). I've run a wheel out of true for quite a while, but the spokes are all tensioned so I'm fairly confident I can use it like this for a while. Will end up rebuilding the whole wheel at some point.

The spokes are all tight and at full tension. This was checked at the time as we are hoping that if those were out it would be problem solved but they are still all tight and true.
Have the wheel off the bike now so will take into Spectrum and get them to have a look....hoping it can be fixed as don't like the cost of a replacement

Missing a spacer? maybe one was misplaced when new sprockets were put on?

No they say it's in the wheel itself. Often they get bent real bad & then the tension corrects the bend an amount but if it can't then the rim has deformed. You'd be better to send it to a wheel building place like Hamco (several others slip my mind & I've never used them) or see back of Kiwi rider. They may be able to straighten the rim & relace it. All that will take time which of course = money. Give a specialist a call & get advice.

thanks for the help.
Will update once I know the outcome. Hopefully it is a simple fix and that it is something stupid that we haven't checked...:innocent:
