I'm a one night stand virgin (although I've been to the Duck and the Kiwi). Looking forward to it. I need a break away from the family!

I presume you won't travel down to wellington, only to travel back up? :scooter:
Look out for the gang.
A hutt lad on a red ninja
A rough lad on a harley sportster
a normal lad on a KTM
and a clueless lad on a speed triple (me).

Yeah Pete - that Indian was mighty fine. Missed a photo opportunity as it arrived after I did my camera round.
Trip back was uneventful, apart from a bit of wind and misty drizzle as we came into Wellington.
Trip up was another matter. I killed my first bird (was quite a laugh apparently as it flew across the road and smacked into my luckily closed visor). Mate behind me on the KTM said he saw it ricochet off somewhere. Poor bird.
Then a cocky was moving his sheep but the dog got carried away and the gate was open. BLlind bend, mate on KTM goes through fine then 8 sheep across the road with a dog! Nowhere to go apart from off road or brake like hell. Put trust in brakes and tyres and Mr. Brembo took off the speed remarkably well. I would have hate to think if it wasn't for all the shit I was carrying on the back (4 man tent, airbed, pump full bag etc...) I might have arse ended. Stopped in time.
Entertainment was great. Band kicked arse.
Took heaps of photos. Will post some up. No longer a one night virgin.
Roll on the 'Duck!

Mate, its a bike rally.
Do you think the club would want to deal with an angry crowd of bikers that didnt get what they wanted? We do things properly here in the Bay
