No body.
Darbi's wholesale them to shops at a premimun price, so the dealers have little wiggle room in the sale price.
It's a bitch, because alot of other Conti tyres are cheap as chips.

A Karoo T I think they are called are comparable and might be cheaper, certainly a little more side tread, Toddy swears by them so there is one good dodgy recommendation :shifty::D

Have you tried Cycletreads usually send them freight free if they are not installing them. Could always try a group buy and twist there arms if there is sufficient quantities. I would be up for a 21" front & 17" rear if there was a good price.

+1 Andrew is pretty sharp with his TKC pricing.
Trashy, was in TSS on Sat and saw you, almost didn't recognise you now you've gone all shaved and presentable and shit.

Cheers for all the advice and offers
They around US$110 on bike bandit while T63's are US$60 on the bandit, so they look to be a high priced tyre to begin with.
$220 still to high for me, think just stick with the E07's, do 50% tar so the TKC80 to expensive to watch doing a disappearing act. Given the tread pattern I doubt I would get 7000 K's out of one like I did with the last E07.

I did actually but you were distracted selling a bike, and I had 2 weeks of growth on my face so was pretty scruffy myself.

I have just run 2 TKC 80's on the 950, the first did ~5500km and I took it off with maybe 1000km left on it cause I was going on a big trip. That had probably 70% road, 30% light gravel use.
The 2nd lasted 3500km's and was completely rooted, steel belts coming through the rubber in places. That had probably 2000km of road and 1500km of much more agressive riding on sharper rougher off road surfaces.

I was impressed with the 3500km  Loved the TKC but didn't last long.

The first one was lots of easy road touring, including a 1300km Hamilton to Cape Reinga and return trip.
The 3500km one lasted 8 days from when it went on the bike to when it was 'completely rooted'.
