thats an aftermarket reg/rec you have there

the original replacement item should look like this <a href="http://s56.photobucket.com/albums/g177/unternichtuber/?action=view&amp;current=RR17regrecelectrex.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g177/unternichtuber/RR17regrecelectrex.jpg" border="0" alt="rr17"></a>

the brand new aftermarket one is $195 plus courier

scare yourself if you like, ring Suzuki and price a new genuine one:shutup:

Haha.
I've been quoted $650 for a Genuine Suzuki Reg/Rec.
Anyways, this is sorted, paid $230 locally.

Thanks anyways.

cool, and remember to check the charging rate regularly to be sure the problem does not come from the alternator itself,or you will be back where you started real soon.

Haha.
I think im at that point already.

Voltage across battery: 12.25
Voltage across battery (Engine on): 12.20
Voltage across battery (Revving to 3-4K): 12.10

Might just have to replace stator and reg/rec (prob with a R6 one).

Where did you get your stator from?
And would i have to get one for a gsxr250 specific? Or can a different model fit in as well?
