A bloody good 3 days riding!
Day 1: 350km in light rain - Hunterville, Mangawheka, Kimbolton, Apiti, Ashhurst, Fielding, Bulls, Santoft Wanganui. One senior citizen went grasstrack without any damage other than a sore shoulder.
Day 2: 360km in rather strong winds at times - Marton, Fielding, Woodville, Dannevirke, Weber, Pongaroa, Mangatanoka, Bunnythorpe, Turakina, Wanganui.
Day 3: 460km in light shower patches - Hawera, Stratford, Whangamomona, Taumaranui, National Park, Wanaganui. One damaged Honda 1800 cruiser after drifting offroad after slipping on fallen fruit from an overhanging tree in the Parapara's just north of the Falls lookout.
And to top it all off a great bunch to socialize with and a great entertainment setup.
