I was looking in the UK (by brother would bring it back with him) but I couldn't get something without a ridiculous price - or so I thought.
Looks like something in pretty good order is in the 3000 to 4000 pound range. Add on shipping, insurance, gst and fees, over 10k NZ landed.
All the good bikes disappeared before their ebay auction finished, and ebay bidding is a bit cut-throat.

Instead I went a bought a spotless 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan vn800b.

Following day an 800 Drifter came on trademe, but for 15000 dollars! Might be worth importing a few cult bikes like these just to make a bit of cash.
