Hey guys i'm taking the 636 down to puke on the 11th, was wondering if anyone is keen for a good time attack? Just joking, only going for some fun.

What's the condition of the track like at this time?

Will be happy with 1:10 but i doubt it.

Well, there have been VFR400's doing 1.08 and CBR250RR doing 1.15, all on stock suspension. I don't think it's dreaming too far in all honesty... it's a nice goal though! no harm in trying mate.

the 636 has a fucking awesome inbuilt lap timer though so I'm going to make an effort with it. probably will hitting 270 indicated before braking i'd imagine... at least it shouldn't bottom out!

Fuck you're slow if you're happy with a 70 second lap. I'm slow as fuck and managed a 64 on my first visit to Puke, on road tyres on a K3 GSXR. The benchmark for 600s is around 58 I think.

But seriosuly, who gives a flying fuck about laptimes at a trackday?

Exactly, on a new bike I don't think 1.10 is dreaming at all, just CrazySteve with his litre bike syndrome. With traffic and no hay bales it's silly to aim for super sport times isn't it. I've been in a integra on street tyres that was approaching that time.

The reason I give a fuck this time is because I got a nifty inbuilt lap timer I am dying to use!!!
