I'm not a fishing person, but have watched bits of this programme while waiting for the news to come on. It always makes me wonder whether the fish (it's an oil fish tonight and it's humungous!!!, and what a ginormous gob it has) ooops, back on track here... it always makes me wonder whether the fish they release back after ooohing and aaaahing over them, head straight back to the school and go "OMG Fred, I was abducted by friggin' aliens again".

The sheer physical fight of manhandling some of those monsters onto the boat is incredible, and I guess the fish is fighting for it's life (unaware that it will be returned to the water after the sport of catching it has been completed).

Maybe when aliens abduct people they're actually fishing???

...my mate who was abducted , never mentioned being fiddled with...in fact he was mysteriously transported back to near where he lived....they didn't even touch his pie...which was cold by then...I reckon they wouldn't grab a Geordie if they new they had to put up with that fucking gobby voice....
