Sri Lanka, India will self-destruct under the pressure of playing in front of their own fans.

With a little help from Hansie looking down on them.

Very impressed with how Kenya bowled against Pakistan for the first 8 or 9 overs. Kept them down to only 2-3 an over and took two wickets. Went to bed at that point and Pakistan ended up with over 300

Netherlands also played well against England. Its a shame these Associate countries don't get to play these top teams more often.

Tonights game will be very interesting!

I saw a little of that "Masters'" game held at Seddon Park last evening to raise funds for ChCh EQ relief...

Watching Bryan Young bat was interesting. Technically far better than anything I have seen all season...

McCullum is not an opener. He needs to be anywhere below 3.
New Zealand really do make stupid decisions.
I bet we get bowled out before taking our powerplay.

It can't be that boring if you losers have nothing better to do than go into a cricket thread just to comment about it.

How about you just stay out if you can't add anything of value?

Pfffft, trolls.

I hoped they learnt their lesson last time when it took two months to get the cup over and done with. I can't work out why on most days they only have one match. 4-5 weeks is too long. We had a week between matches, that is stupid. Should be max of 4 days between games for each country, ideally 2-3. The players must be bored shitless, you can only practice so much.

I hope the black caps donated their match fees to the eq fund cause they sure as hell didn't earn them the other night. Cock ups in every corner. The biggest was saving the powerplay till after McCullum was out. How dumb is that. Although I guess it wouldn't have changed the result.

The story so far is that India has the batting, Aus the bowling and SA the best all round team.

It's out of them.

Pakistan could cause an upset or two, but how Afridi goes - so do they.

So far the haters are pretty much right.

2 interesting games and the rest (like last night) have been complete rubbish.

Wow, who would've thought?
We are now top of Group A with Canada and Sri Lanka to play.

Thats made things a bit more interesting, could be heading for a quarter vs England/Bangladesh/West Indies possibly?

I saw the highlights. I can't help but wonder if there is any chance at all that their fielding is that awful or if the bookies paying out large today......

Well after watching the highlights this evening, I can say that the bookies were involved last night.
