I've just checked out the results here http://www.cdd.co.nz/sprint/EastWestSprintResults2003.htm and I must say to MatthewT that was a helluva fine quarter mile time you did on your 750 with only one GSXR1000 ahead of you.

While I'd like to take the credit for a 10.33 run I can't. All my other runs were in the mid to low 11's so I can only assume it was actually a 11.33 written down as 10.33. The MV could probably do a high 10 but not a low 10.

how often do they have this event guys?
I presume the 2003 GSXR in those times was the Alstare colours that you mentioned a few weeks ago Matt?

HEHE... I've just printed the list out. I think I'll highlight a few choice numbers like the 1989 Harley pulling 12.2s along with the GSXR and leave it where my car modification mad flat mate can't help but see it!!

gotta love these things

Hi CK - have heard from the sprint organisers - The next sprint will probably be in September 2004. They are currently are busy organsing their Hillclimb which is on Sunday March 7th 2004 - this goes up the Kourau (sp?) Dam Hill road in the Wairarapa. I'll post info as it comes to hand.
