We'll there wernt many replies... but we still have (hopefully) 5 bikes going (common Alz) The weather forecast is for SUN so we're going.
Enjoy the rugby tonight and have a nice fathers day if your not comming... thanks
Oh, if you want us to wait anywhere, post a reply because the way it looks like we're free to stop and go where we want... we will stick roughly to the schedule below.

Anyone keen?, Sunday 26th June racing starts at 10:30am
I was thinking...

Leave Tauranga (McDonalds car park 11ave) 7:30am
Breakfast Matamata 8am-leave 8:30am
wait in Morrinville until 9:15am
Go through Gordington and wait in Huntly until around 10:15am
Get to the track at 10:30am (thereabouts)
racing finishes mid-afternoon and we head home.

If you want to race you'll need to be there by 9am to register.

I'm not a baby sitter so ride as fast or as slow as you like and pretty much have a fun day out. :devil2:
A schedule like that will give riders along the way a chance to tag on or catch-up.

Cheers

I am keen to go out to Meremere to watch some drag racing. I am coming from Auckland, so opposite way from you. Maybe some Auckland riders are keen for a short ride?

might be keen, depends how intense the night before is  => :puke:

i found that even after a 6 hours recovery i still wasnt quite on par with my riding, on the other hand i am really keen to find out just how fast the ZXR is. Will have to loose some weight before i go down tho

Thats sweet if guys from other places (Auckland) want to meet up there, we'll keep an eye out for ya.

Rugby wont get in the way... should be an early game, but your right we cant miss that, we'll just have to get hard/er.

Hope the rain goes away...

Well... what a beutiful day (bloody cold :cold: )
Only two of us showed up at 7:30am so we headed over to Matamata for breakfast and then toodled off to the drags going on the shedule I posted.
Watched some racing, met a few new people and headed home around 1:30pm.
Got Matamata real fast (we both hit 200 clicks a couple of times) then carried on after a break.

Zoomed up the Kaimai's and ran into the back of some Tauranga guys heading home from a ride to Okoroire, so it was down the other side at 170 with a few guys on one wheel when we hit the bottom... stopped to meet these guys and finally headed home.

Wonderful day out... I've posted some pics

It was a shame more people did'nt come, could have been even better.
