I've just halved the weight and cc's of my KTM :woohoo: KTM hard parts have everything you need and are probably reasonably priced.

Wow, didn't see that one coming:gob:. I'd have been keen, but I think I already have enough of them.... There's a 'pretty' blue and yellow one on the Tard too, for our Auckland viewers.

Smart looking bike. Out of interest what is the seat height? The spec's say seat hight 980 mm (39,2 in). In reality it's not much different to the Transalp. The Transalp is lower parked side by side, but the Transalp is wider. The KTM has way more suspension travel so with the sag set correctly it settles more than the Transalp. The net result is that I get the balls of both feet down on both bikes. I'm 5'10" so not that tall. Cheers, Tim.

Nope....It is an LC4, no different to the adventure. Up to the rider I suppose, but I do mine at........:)

My '90 TT350 is 970mm (about 70mm higher than stock).
Not as pleasing to the eye or bum as the DR seat but does the job.

So why is everybody so keen to get the ktm 625 sxc?...I thought they required oil changes every couple of thou kms?....maybe I,m wrong- all info welcome.... The early ones had a smaller oil capacity = short service intervals. 2004 + have the oil in the frame and screw on oil filter and greater oil capacity and longer service intervals like most other LC4's. Having said that I've always changed oil in my cars and bikes more regularly than the recommended service intervals. Quality oil and filter is cheap compared to a rebuild. Cheers.
