Was a serious MX rider in my younger days, every weekend for ten years up & down the country. Then one day I stopped- money, lack of intrest etc.
Now 41yrs. Have my first bike in 20+ yrs (DR650 2007. Had only 3000km on it). Thankfully I had the sense to get my bike license when I was 15, so have a full license.
Enjoying the bike more than I expected, far more challenging than the jetski I just sold. Now that I have done a few rides by myself im looking to catch up with some similar bikes to go on some rides. In the 2 months since i got it, Ive done the Coromandel - 309 & tapu coroglen gravel loop. But best so far would be Port Waikato to Raglan via Limestone Downs and Te Akau. Stunning views and no cars for most of the way. Then coming back on Hwy 22 at pace. Have had no offs yet...
Live in Pukekohe.
Cheers Anthony
