It's great to see all the different types of reasons to have a motorcycle. I would be interested to see how many km people clock up during peak motorcycle season.

Whether you pootle out for a weekend blitz or you commute everyday.

At the moment I myself am managing about 300km p/w since November

Not that I'm saying the more you ride the more experienced you'll get... :p

unfortunatly i don't ride much during summer as i do 4x4 trials during the summer months and if im not out racing im in the shed fixing the bloody thing. But during winter i would clock up around 200k with weekend rides and the odd commute.

When uni starts again and if the weathers nice for the entire week, that'll be... 560km just for the daily commute. Plus whatever I do on the weekend.

It will be lovely, except for the motorway runs obviously

Motorway vs Lights every km?... Unfair choice

A couple of hundred I guess, It is my only transport, so college, work, shops everywhere... But most of the things I do are pretty local so lots of rides but mostly only shorties :( Km's are pretty consistent regardless of season as well.

I get 500k a week just going to and from work and whatever detours or weekend activities and it's all year round not just in the sunny times.

So far this summer I've done about 200km on the bike. It's sitting in the garage doing nothing due to an injury I sustained a few months back on another bike. I hope my hand gets better enough so I can ride properly again.

800km or so just to Uni every week as of this week. During the Holiday I have been doing around 6-700km per week anyway. So I imagine I will be doing over 800 p/week this coming year. Which is around 41600km per year....:woohoo:  :scooter:

During my 3 week holiday period over xmas I did 2000-2500km per week.
(Ripped through a new rear tyre)

I average 600-800kms per work week.

If the sun is shining and I am not at work, 9 out of 10 times i'll be on the bike.

Same as in winter ... 180km worth of commuting during the week and then whatever I add on during the weekend.

About 250kms commuting, rain or shine. If my maths doesn't suck, that's roughly 313,440.3 revolutions of my tiny little 10 inch wheels :scooter:

Averaged over 1000km a week for the last month... pretty much while still working as well, at least 5 days a week...

No car in sight tho

Once upone a time it would be 600 or so kms a week and now...would be lucky to ride 25kms a week.

I'm just under 14,000 km in just over 10 months on my 6L and 6R. That works out at an average around 300 km/week. I ride her every chance I get, weekend runs and commuting.

This summer just gone I think I got on the bike twice, and nearly passed out from the heat before I got out the gate both times. Melted tar and f*ckwits all over the road going on holiday and to the beach? No thanks.

300km per week regular commuting (all year round) and try to fit in another 200+km of enjoyable riding away from traffic congestion whenever possible

:( If I wasn't borrowing a bike, it would be much more.

Though the Swarm nights do help up my average - I might hit 50km/week if I go once a fortnight... :bleh:
