Hey awesome people of KB!

Sadly I've made the decision to sell my road bike and get more into Motox/Dirt bikes. I am yet to find a bike cheap enough to buy but it will be soon hopefully!

Im just wondering if anyone out there would be willing to let me come around and watch them work on their bike and do all the little things that Ill have to learn for myself when riding?

And eventually when I get a bike be my shoulder to cry on when I bail and break some bones :)

Itd be awesome to hang out with other like-minded people around my age range so we will probably have other stuff in common too :niceone: (Im 23, in the Kapiti region).

My long term goal is to be the 2nd chick to backflip a full-sized bike. LAUGH IT UP, dreams are for free

Hey nomnomnom
When you get your bike post in Off road!
or for bike advice "off Road" is the place!!
From memory there is someone there form Te Horo?? (not sure though)

Most often thing you'll do is clean the air filter

Depending on the bike you get

Mixing fuel (if its a 2 stroke)
Oil changes
Chain tension
cleaning it

Oh BTW there was a Wellington MX riders thread to do a search!
Pretty sure one or two where from Kapiti area??
Although I haven't seen any posts there for a while!!

OH this chick is from down your way http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/member.php/23424-thecharmed01
haha she's young and blond like you that should create a rukus at the track!!!
Click into her profile for some others in Welly! Kezza etc??

Don't be scared to PM her MX people are the most approachable out there!!
We have to be in case we are stuck in the whops 10k from home with a busted bike or bone LOL!!!
Anyway best I can do to help good luck!

Hey chicky!

I sent you a message! We are always super keen for more riders.. and I'm ALWAYS looking for easy going womenfolks to ride with!
I love moto, just started jumping - only little jumps.. nothing bigger than a few feet off the ground so far, but not bad for my first go LOL
Best part is scaring the nuts off the boy ahahahahahaha
Apparently it freaks him out.

We ride most weekends in Welly.
Either Long Gully.. or out Makara (one of the boys has a key to the station property) which is a fun little trail to hit up.
Then we do a lot of the Organised Trail Rides between here & Halcombe.
There's one this weekend, in Tangi we are doing....

Looking forward to meeting up though, MORE GIRLS YAY!!!!!!!!
I'm always trying to rope in my friends, but most of them are too wussy so meh. Their loss....
