Hey everyone,
I have a fake knee and am finding on trail rides it is hard for me to kick the kickstart after a couple of hours of riding. what comes out with electric start and has ok performance on par with my 05 kxf250. I am looking to swap it for a bike with electric start.

My mate has a ( I think 09??) Wr with white Yz plastics the original ones have never been on!
I'm pretty sure it has only 15 hours on the clock!
He might want to sell it as he never rides it!
But you owe it to yourself to have a spin on the 300exc!
You can tune them for any sort of riding with the power valve springs etc
And they'd feel lighter and etc etc

Hop off and kick it with your left leg, easy to do after a while and a handy skill to have when you are on a slope.

Yea Im pretty keen on a wr but id say an 09 will be a bit out of my price range.
I cant get off and kick it with my left leg as its my left leg thats no good and struggle to hold my weight on it when kicking the kick start normally

Just a question then, how do you get on riding with a non weight bearing knee? The reason I'm asking is that I need good leg support just to ride, so maybe a knee brace to help that leg might be a good idea as well as electric start?

cr250x is an option. 450 is not an option for me yet as I have only been riding less then 4 months

Dirt riding isn't the place to try and "get away" without a knee brace, lots of us use them after injury and wish we had used them before......
I know safety gear is costly but it is really easy to do some nasty damage and if you have a stuffed knee now then don't risk it.

Its just so uncomfortable to wear the brace I paid $1000 for. So I sold it and my Grandad is in the middle of making one out of the locking braces you get from hospital.
