Classic Honda CB750, Regretfully have to sell due to changing circumstances.
Twin Cam, 4 Carbs, Oil cooled, 5 speed.
Being a 750 its pretty grunty, lots of fun in the twisties
All original apart from an aftermarket muffler , rejet carbs and LED indicators.
Getting pretty rare now (apart from in the wreckers), this bike has been around the block a few times but is still a good bike.
Brought for $1800 from a dealer 3 months ago. Since then I have..
-Changed Oil and filter twice (when I got it and today (2/2/11)
-Changed air filter
-Replaced front and rear brake master cylinders
-Replaced rear brake pads
-Replaced spark plugs
-Balanced Carbs
-Replaced Rear tyre (brand new)
-Quick respray on plastics and tank, some touch up paint included
-Replaced the original indicators with LED units and new flasher relay (the originals are included)
-New seat cover and a few seat mods to make it more comfy
All up ive spent over $1200, have found parts easy to get.
Bike will be sold with a current WOF and Reg
Has been used for daily commuting in Auckland, and between Auckland and Tauranga, rode it to palmy, was a great ride. Has been around the block, and will continue to do so. Lots of preventative maintenance carried out. Will go forever
In Palmerston North, Not in a hurry to sell but would like to swap it for a car, preferably one of 1980-1990 vintage, petrol and abit of character.
Check the prices of other DOHC Cb750's on trade me. This is a bargin. Lots of character, a nice exhaust note, and the dynamics of a modern (ish) bike
Have dropped the price due to lack of interest
Cheers
