hi all,am looking at restoring one of these,bike is 90% complete,are parts readly availble fr these,dont care if it takes 5 years to do,something i have always wanted to do.

They were popular bikes and still a few still running. Wheel, frame bearings, seals are reasonably avalible, Gaskets are going to be a problem.
Dont bother trying the Honda dealers for parts tho' Their software wont have any early model info avalible and their parts people wont be interested in looking elsewhere for you.

I have an '87 Honda and have had more success with Australian Honda dealers than the NZ dealers. Their parts ( including exchange rates & freight) have been less than half the quoted NZ price.

Ecohonda in Te Aroha would be your best bet apart from the wreakers.
