I live in Raglan, I saw about 100 harleys on SH23 when I was riding over to Paeroa on Friday, only 3 or 4 of the bastards waved!

FYI if finances had allowed I would have been there on the Buell raising hell and annoying those types who think their shit doesn't stink.

I happen to know quite a few HD riders and they are all really great people who just love riding and enjoy life. However my experience of HOG rallies (done about 10) has been that a few tossers DO come out of the wood work LOL.

Reminds me of the time I went to a Ulysses rally ('93) and while everyone was oohing and ahhing at my rather rare '89 CZ 350 Commie too-smoke, this turkey - who'd obviously just got his 883 Skirtster - walked over and told me to 'come back when I got my first Harley'. I replied that I bought my first Hog in 1969 (a WL, to be exact) and then apologised for being late! :rolleyes:

This was followed by howls of laughter from the rest of his HOG mates and I'm sure he felt as small as his manhood.
