ZxR750h is doin my head in

It all started with going completely dead! now it's got worse.
If I gave the starter solinoid and 30a fuse holder a jiggle , it all popped back to life.
I upgraded the jiggle with cable ties.
Now it's really down and the headlight fuse and main 30a holder look like they have taken some heat and melted a wee bit.
Solenoid clicks with direct power.
No dash lights or nuthin....

Sounds like you have a bad connection in the main feed wire/connectors/fuse block. It's a common thing on high current connections with wig wires for them to get a bit loose and then start heating - most likely all you have to do is fix up the connections to make them clean and tight and you'll be sorted.

Do it properly though (not cable ties!) and spend an hour or 2 taking bit off to get to all of the appropriate area. Get photos of things before you pull them apart and then find the bad connection(s) and fix.

Not past DIY, and you'll go :woohoo: when you fix it yourself for minimal cost!

You mistake was not fixing in properly in the 1st place - now you need extra strength diy...

I didnt do the dodgy diy, its just the last bit of the bike im dealing too....
except the cabletie, which was a brillent roadside fix, i might add!
