Maybe they need a second message board with chalk provided, so patrons could give their feedback on what breakfast was like.

It's Te Awamutu man, there's only so much even the BDOTGNZA could do.

It'd be like giving the French superior fire-power.

I've seen worse: like a breakfast menu that boasted sausage's and egg's.

Not to mention numerous Kiwi Biker subject lines that offer photo's. Sigh.

The BDOTGNZA encourages the taking of photos to name and shame!

We went to our local(ish) JB Hifi on Sunday.

I liked the shelf that was displaying "Chordless phones"

I did, however, neglect to take a photo. For which I apologise.

I don't think so. It is Feilding, however...

Ahem:

Manfeild is a truly unique venue and considered one of New Zealand’s most diverse events centres. Nestled in 80 hectares of parkland, Manfeild offers a flexible range of facilities that can be tailored to individual needs.
Known for its world-class motor racing circuit - the longest with uninterrupted views in the Southern Hemisphere, Manfeild is currently the home of the New Zealand Grand Prix.
These days the circuit is but one component – much more drives this landmark Feilding facility and Manfeild has evolved into a unique facility capable of catering for a wide range of events.
Ensuring your event at Manfeild is effortless and straightforward is our ultimate goal. Your time with us will provide an experience you will remember for a lifetime!

Although the web address is Manfield. Go figure.

Yea - it's a strange one. Manfield/Manfeild...seems either/or is acceptable. But Feilding is always EI.

LOL! English is the most messed up language of them all. There are always rules but with exceptions. My thoughts are that someone, somewhere along the way, has misspelt it and it's been spelt that way ever since.

I did that. So where's my prize then?

Just for the record, the sign is in Otorohanga and belongs to Troubadour cafe. I asked the waiting person about the sign and she informed me that it was written by a company in Te Awamutu.

Oh and Troubadour has excellent coffee!

Hahaha, at least we then know they don't ring in harmony.

I like the idea of Tooted sandwiches.

Liberally and incorrectly sprinkled apostrophes really feel like nails down my eyeballs. (And I have to say my hubby is one of the worst offenders. I haven't been able to train him out of it yet so I realise there is little hope for others).

I was tempted to write "apostrophe's" but just couldn't bring myself to do it! Off to claw my eyeballs out now - self inflicted.

Blasts the new-born infant's tear,
And blights with plagues the marriage-hearse. </td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table>Those manacles are the rules we create .........weeeee,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or break ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.... dotty dot dot dot ,,,,

Somebody else whose teacher only gave them part of the rhyme:

"I before E
Except after C
And before G".

Feilding (named after a person of that name) and Manfeild (a combination of Manawatu and Feilding) are exceptions to that convention.
