Sell the 1050S3 and buy a Tuono??

Getting bored with the Speed triple and have a hankering for a vee twin naked. Seeing as I could never afford a streetfighter I think I need to get a Tuono........
This is a picture taken a year ago when I thought of selling. That tells me I should go for it.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=351310234Nice. Have you thought of a reason not to?

(I think I'd prefer your Speed but hey, you've wanted a change for a while now.)

I found the Aprilia's power a little disappointing, especially the way it delivers it (not really like a v-twin at all).

PC3 and pipes will help

stick with the S3.

If you bored, maybe look at fitting a turbo ... :corn:

Not sure. Its well looked after and comes with original pipes etc. About $11k I suppose.

Considered the KYM SuperDuke?

Bit too pricey and apparently not real comfortable

Its not the power aspect that bores me. In fact not really bored ...its hard to explain. Maybe I don't want to be a snob on a triumph anymore

Hey Lanci...You have been trying to sell yours for a while now. What were you thinking of getting as a replacement?

Well its a done deal. Triumph was picked up yesterday :yes::facepalm::yes:and ridden home to Dargaville by new owner...pick up the 03 Tuono RSV1000 racing tomorrow. All the CF race fairings, reverse shifter, race pipe with chip, race bolt kit, tail piece, and all associated other bits still in bubble wrap so will have to change that:yes:

Only 4 came into the country and probably 100 left on the road world wide

Yahooooo cant wait until tomorrow......................

Then a Honda is not for you! :buggerd:

I Brought a Tuono late last year and I'm loving it.
I have mashed wrists from work and can't have weight on them for long periods (30min max) and I find the Tuono great for long rides.
Fast
Comfortable
agile
and damn it looks hot!!
Sounds awesome

What more could ya want? (other than a different distributor handling them)

 :2thumbsup

Im 22, wanting something that was pretty exciting, upright and pulled big wheelies, rode 2 1050's, then rode the tuono, tuono is def more of a angry bike, yes it is a bit higher reving than your typical twin, but i quite like that. A friend of mine has a 2010 1050's and even he says that my tuono is def more of a sports bike than his, says his bike almost feels like a automatic after riding mine.

Go for the Tuono, dont think you'l look back.

Thats my 2c

Cheers
