i know i know, probably been asked before, but I have a meeting at 2 in town and was wondering where the best chance to grab a bike park would be near Willis Street?

There are usually a couple free around Victoria street (outside farmers) or nearby. 5/ 10 minute walk down to willis/ lambton quay corner.
Lambton quay is a bit popular, you could just trawl past the bike parks to see if any are free (go through featherston street and keep an eye open).

Cheers Wild... i'll leave a little earlier just in case. Is it windy in Wellie (yes yes i realise that's a pretty stooooopid question), but windy in terms of kite bike will be blown over (as she has been before ).

There is only a wee breeze today.
Isnt there a bike park up near Starbucks, around the corner on Featherston street ? (there used to be)

Hunter St or Willeston St parks would be closest to Willis/Lambton Quay

Next time check out the spots on Jervis Quay. Just before you approach the lights by Post office Square, there are bike spaces behind the fence on the left. It's only a couple of mins from Willis and appear to alway's have spaces available.
There are also a few spots by the entrance to the Arena underground carpark (right by Frank Kitts) Again just a short walk.
