Hi Guys
Does anyone have a floor I can sleep on for a week or so?
I work for Work and Income, and they need to sent relief staff down to
ChCh, but can't book accomodation.
If anyone has space I'd appreciate a PM
We're on 24 hour standby so any offers would be appreciated.
I can take care of all meals, etc, it's just somewhere to sleep
Cheers

Bump - this dude needs floor space if possible.
Out of interest buddy - what is the WINZ office down there like. If they are ok then why not stay there.
Water/power etc is shit everywhere in CBD so winz office will be good as any room.

Why is that not WINZ's problem?
(i.e. fly you to Blenheim and drive down in a campervan)

I was meant to attend a WINZ seminar last Thursday, which I did not attend due to the fact that army and police were blocking the roads around the WINZ office. The letter I received about the seminar 2 weeks before the date stated that if I did not attend that meeting I would have my unemployment benefit cut on the 28th of February. I've tried calling WINZ, but I can't get through to them so what should I do?
