Hello, my name is Lucas. Im from Argentina..
I´m 33 yeards old. i ride since the 12´s. I started with a vespa Super sport that my grandfather gave me.
He literaly sawed my bicycle with his grinder. He was a "very good" Racing Pilot.
He drove a Norton international and a Manx wich we still treasure with my brother.
Then i grew up, started to work and also started to buy more troubles.
First Another vespa ( px 200) and then another and another..always runing from mechanic to mechanic.. And so i became a full am/pm grease monkey.
At 26 i started to restore vintage british motorcycles. Thats how i found my es2 norton 500 on a near town from home. A wm20 bsa..
And so watching hours of pics on the web, from the ace cafe, from father bill and his boys, from the good old days..
i realized that it was my "grinder moment"
So i found my self looking for a motorcycle to baptize it with the ton up spirit !
I finally decided to buy a Honda GB 250 Clubman.
Bad luck for my, there is only a few of this model here in this forgoten country.
The engine is not working at the moment.
I started by the end.. doing the paint job...
I accept sugestions like " Dont do that" or anything.
By the way, ia have a friend that is traveling to New zealand with Los pUmas Rugby Team. (I also play Rugby).
And i was thinking to ask him that get my some spares for my GB 250 Honda.
Could somebody tell me where i could send him to get some spares...? I need the right plastic Side cover and some transmission gear.
Thank you all.
COngrats to the people who started this great web.
Best Regards
Lucas

Someone knows if the GB250 share his engine with the CBX 250 ?
I´m getting crazy by now because here in argentina the only one GB that i know is mine.
No spare parts, no suplies...no nothing !

Try this guy, http://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk/ . Ive got a CBX250rs that Im getting motor parts for, he has them in stock. Just e-mail them. CBX250rs and GB250 dont seem to share some part numbers but generally the same.

Now I would like to know if a RFVC 600 out of a XR600 will fit....
