Me and wife in her car. Half way between interchange and town I notice a woman (medium build, longish redish hair?) on a chopperish style bike. Bigger than a GN I think but wasn't looking close.
She looked a bit nervous but was doing OK. For example, she didn't split past the bus that was in my lane, but was however aware enough to see bikes coming from behind and get out of the way and let them split past.
Eventually she made her way ahead and disappeared.
Then, at the bit where the terrace road splits off, I saw her trying to get from the middle lane to the left - to go to the terrace and not through the tunnel.
That area is always a mess, with cars who decided too late to move left trying to push in, and cars from the on ramp just before who want to get to the tunnel. I saw her have to go around a car that wasn't quite in its' lane, and there was this shiny blue Holden Commodore trying to go around her.
He then proceeded to monster her all the way down what I could see of the terrace off ramp. Pushing past her using the shoulder, very close and zoom zoom zoom all the way to where he had to stop for the big queue at the lights anyway.
Hard to describe, but basically, he was all over her, and it looked pretty dangerous. She was a bit wobbly but I can't imagine her doing anything on purpose to annoy him.
Now, I'm not saying he needs his car tipped upside down or anything (seriously: no), but if anyone knows the driver of blue commodore BAF311 please tell him to pull his head in.
Maybe he needs to "relieve" himself in the morning before he drives.
(I didn't put the rego in the thread title in case I remembered wrong. Let me know if it needs fixing.)

When I saw the generic blue sedan I first thought of the legendary blue Falcon that harrasses bikes going to the Hutt. There's wankers in all kinds of cars (and even some on bikes). I wouldn't blame "Commodore" specifically. (But that's my opinion...)

That's where I am, just thought I would check if you were within my "target audience" before I start runing random motorcyclists off the road. I would hate to feel that my efforts weren't being appreciated! :woohoo:

It was originally owned by the NZ police, but now it's owned by a David Reeves of Camborne in Porirua. Maybe he's a policeman anyway.

Yet to meet a cop that has bought an ex-cop car.
They know too well the treatment those cars get.
Bogans and car-yards tend to buy them.
"Yeah mate, ex-cop car eh, always better looked after...etc etc"

Funny you should say that. I'd never own one. Our shop is right on Kent Tce, and every time there's an incident, they go screaming past beating fuck out of the poor things! I did my apprenticeship for Avis Rent a car, and I'd never buy an ex rental either!

funny you should say that, I brought an ex rental car. 7 years & 200,000 km later it is still the best buy I have made. :niceone:

Ex rentals certainly got well serviced (at least way back when I was in the trade), as they can't afford to have them off the road with silly lil things going wrong.

Oddly enough that was in part why I brought it , that and it went like the clappers .
I'd quite happily buy another ex rental too. The cars are usually less than a year old, the price is well below a 'new' car & the services are fully recorded.
I'd be wary of an ex cop car though.
