Thanks mate. Is there a signpost on the intersection?

Yep. Turn-off is at the end of a fairly long straight - if you drop down a few windy corners to a one-lane bridge you've gone too far.

The old house on the corner (R.H. side) was a post office in the late 1800,s/early 1900.s.You can see the letter posting slot in the wall of the small room @ the end of the veranda. My great grandfather was the postmaster for years there. Also there was stables for the stage coach that came up from Palmerston North.the farm was called the "Delawhere" by the family.
It,s supposed to be looked after by the historic places trust, but does,nt look like much is done.

Watch for other idiots on that track. I'll hopefully have my bike back this week, after an accident in there 6 weeks ago (see the last couple of pages in 'Bart's adventure thread' in my signature).

The first few km are farm land. There will be at least 2 gates to open before you get to the bush line.

The track gets a bit rough after the 'A Frame' hut. It's not too hard to go further but big bikes need to be cautious.

4wds appear with out much notice at speed:nono:, and I was in my 4wd. Gave us a hell of a fright.
