Has anyone tried a download for a Power Commander via their website, if so how did you find it?

I have... they're not that flash, John.
It's worth having a custom map done... someone like Gary Pendleton at Dynotech will transform your bike with a custom map

I tried half a dozen, all shite. Mind you I was trying maps for different pipes from the ones that I fitted because there was nothing available for my particular ones.

Dyno time was the answer.

I tried a downloaded map, was OK but didn't achieve as much as I wanted so I took mine to Gary for a custom map. About $450 I think (but don't quote me on that, my memory isn't always particularly reliable...). He's in Tauranga and it was definitely worth the money, and the ride over...

With the increase in GST, Gary charged me $460.00.
Look up Dynotech in Tauranga.
You won't regret getting a proper job done.

Better than nothing, but depending how modded your bike is, nothing will beat a custom map by a tuner.

Bear in mind the maps are mostly american, for american fuel and air... which differs to NZ.

E-mailed Mr Pendleton yesterday and he has come back with a figure of $400+gst and would need the bike for about 5 hours, seems pretty fair to me.

Exactly what Mr Pendleton said.
