Ill look out for a blue R6... So you know its me ill use the KB wave (or what I can deduce from the extensive search through the archives)
Ill tap my helmet, stick my left foot out, simultaneously steering with my right foot while my right hand lifts my visor so you can see me raising my eyebrows over my glasses...
Sorted!!

Sometimes through the CBD when the motorway is blocked, bloated, closed, otherwise in use.
I ride from Kaukapakapa to the Airport for work. About half the time I have to divert into the CBD itself with all the roadworks on.
Am finding Peak Rad, Old North, SH16 and SH20 a better alternative nowdays... at least a better country run, but slower on free run times.

7 Days a week eh.... :bleh:
I make my way to the CBD every week day on a bike... but I wouldn't call it riding (not yet anyway).

I commute work days from North shore to CBD.
I wold like to know who rides the blue and white Suzi (oldish model - I think its a 250) - because he really moves through the traffic! I thought I keep up a good pace, but I hold him(? I presume) up.

Yup - work in Queen St in the National bank building and ride along the waterfront each day. Either a black Keeway 50c scooter, or a blue SV1000, or a ratty RD350LC, or very, very rarely, a blue and white RG500.

If so, I believe we cross paths every day, either I'm on the striple with the GF on the back... or in a cage staying left, so you and that crazy blue and white blur can lane split past!

Black Hornet 900, random times of random days, sometimes multiple times a day, depending on where my last job was, and where the next is. Most likely to spot me on the Southern, occasionally the Northern, very seldom the NW.

Do you get on at Onewa? I think I've seen you, mistook you for a mate with a triple a couple of weeks ago, and stared at you while passing for a couple of seconds before the penny dropping.

Red CB900, with soft luggage on rack behind, black gear/white helmet, stalling on hill starts.

Yes I do - orange over blue leathers. My helmet is pretty distinctive- with horizontal black and reflective white stripes around the sides and an arrow on the forehead. Thanks for staying left in the cage - where I see cars deliberately making an effort, I always try and wave or acknowledge it. A bit of biker PR cant hurt.
I have not seen a striple around lately with pillion. then again, the time that I go in can change by quite a bit, from 6am to 9am. But I will definitely look out for you now :msn-wink:

Ah, yes.... I have seen you a few times then. Just look out for the black Triple, I'll be wearing black gear with a black tinted helmet (with playing cards on it).... Yep, all black... original
The GF on the back will be in leathers, she generally attracts the attention.

Did you and your other half ride to Whitford last night? I think a group of us saw you pull up near The General Store but then ride off again. I think I may have seen your GPX on the daily commute also.
Head chef eh! I might have to come in and sample the food one day :D
Just checked Dineout - is it also a Cabaret as well? Looks like you're doing well on the food, I'll definitely have to check it out! That's if I feel like looking like a loner... stupid working in town with no friends :(

Nice, all the riders of that group of bikes that Zeocen referred to are KBers. I think we had 8 riders and 2 pillions that night.
We were speculating whether the rider of the hyo was my cousin, who had bought the same distinctive coloured hyo from another member of our group who's now moved up to a bigger bike. Eventually figured it wasn't him though.
The two of you should've popped in, we would've said hello :)

I wish Harbour Bridge bikers would do that - some people lane split far too slowly, and 2 in single file isn't really safe for lanesplitting as it removes one of your emergency exits.
