Riding to work- sun in my eyes? my eyes not theirs - so why the hell would they pull out in front of me- the skid marks go for about 10 meters as I tried to slow down, but bloody hell now they have seen me and stopped in the middle of the road- oh my god! I panic both wheels lock up i went through 3 gears without knowing it and as the cars moves off (i am heading for the gravel on the side of the road)I then see my hand is stuck on the brake and I am now in 2nd gear. Oh my god I let go brake and realise how close that was as I continue on my way- By the time i got to work shock had set in-

And remember that no jacket will improve your visibility. Always ride as though the bastards haven't seen you.

Also be aware that if you are using a clear visor and riding into the sun your vision is likely to be better with the visor up.

Glad to hear the bike didn't go down with both wheels locked up. That wouldn't have been good.

Good advice!

Seems you used all your available skills to avoid being taken out by SIDNSY man. Well done. Next time use your recent experiencce to sharpen your attitude to other road users and know they are out to get you.

Ride to live!

Ride naked, guarrantee they will see you then *jk*
