Can anyone recommend a good cheap place in East Coast Bays to get a blank key cut to a lock without another key?

Also, what's the going rate for a job like this? Don't want to be shafted that's all.

Cheers.

It's a bike yeah. So the code is on the barrel in most cases is it?

You sent me a PM but I can't reply (you don't accept PM or something?)

But yeah, the code on my old '03 CBR600RR was engraved on the back/underside of the ignition barrel somewhere. You need to take it off to see it properly (easier to just lift off the whole top triple clamp).

If the bike was NZ new you could also try Honda dealerships, the key code and HISS chip codes etc are often recorded with the VIN when the bike is sold.

I think I was charged about $30 to get a scooter key cut to fit a lock about 3 years ago. I'd probably expect to pay at least double that for a modern bike ignition lock.
