Ta, I enjoyed reading... your Mt Pisa photo was slightly off... it was the next intersection down Mt Pisa Rd, from the main road...
Now I have to sit down and write mine up

My recollection of the 'Night Photo Option' was a pic of the sign on the main road would suffice. It surprises me that you would have done more Km than required and that explains why you didn't catch us for the fill in Cromwell!?
This should be good!
EggsZachary!.....and about time! He's had days of sitting around and we know he wasn't riding so why wasn't he writing?

Crikey... getting whipped aye? The sitting around was two days following a GN to Auckland, yesterday was dropping the bike off, and organising a replacement helmet etc.
I've blogged 4200 words catching up on some past stuff, and up to Friday night before the TT... now I need lunch.

Re Isengard...I was disappointed we didn't get there later and would only have needed to go as far as the Dart River bridge. I was even contemplating a relaxing stop in Wanaka to kill time but that Dark Lord Jantar Man said, "No it's only half a Km gravel"! ...then he drags over miles of the stuff.
.......and as for the two days...
Like I said..."Sitting around". You should know it's bad luck to follow a ginny so you should have nipped on ahead 50Km, set up the coffees, then written a few paras while you waited.

Ok, so it was more than 1/2 km. It was 600 meters. Or we could have followed your GPS and gone for a 15 km gravel ride. :devil2:

Maaaate!! It only seemed like 600 metres because you took it at warp speed! Me on the other hand, riding like your nana's nana and being very careful not to run over any hobbits, ents or wizards that you had scared from the undergrowth....this was a very long way!!
