So I was in Wellington yesterday, had a meeting in Tennyson street. I loaned a bike from one of the local bike shops (thanks guys) but, what the hell is with other bikers and the way they park?..I know it was blowin' it nads of yesterday in Welly but come on. Secure them properly, its not difficult. Close by, there was this shitty little Honda 400 sports bike that looks like its in dire need of some TLC. Several bikes laying down around it, managed to get the loan out without to much damage, adjust the mirrors and off I go, plane to catch etc. TTFN

Well for one, lean into the wind, not away from it, the top two inches should be used more in windy conditions.

I know not of what you speak? I didn't damage anything, well not that anyone saw, that I am sure off. And where would one find paper and pen at such short notice?

Surely if you lean a bike away from the wind the wind is blowing the bike on to its stand rather than off it.

.... lean into the wind, not away from it

I think you may be confused with pissing in the wind....:msn-wink:

You think way too much, but, given that you are the first to point that out, I applaud you.
