explain a cheap win? staying on for 20 laps is the first aim, RV had gapped the rest of the feild, early, Stewart was doing a couple of section just nuts, but it bit him in the end
however i think RV has found Dungeys lucky streak from last year,

Sure he was running a solid second but had nothing for the leader, at least n the earlier rounds both he and js7 were pressuring each other into misakes but not this time, two things are obvious now, after last week I think js has decided to laeve the others to it, and rv is riding for points.
Cheapskates prob not the best word for it but you know wat I mean,

I think that RV ha shad some of dungey's luck expecially over the last 2 weeks but js7 was checking out and RV didn't have an answer for him. I think js7 will come back strong next week and be back on the top of the podium.

Stewart had dropped him for sure, but he was taking huge risks to do it, i mean the line after they crossed the start were he was jumping the large hump was insane, and i am pretty sure he was the only guy trippling that triple of the inside rut where he crashed,
RV has hardly riding for points, but he seemed to have learnt last year what riding over your head does, and Stewart learnt again last night, it hurts, Stewart was lucky to get up after that crash, its a fine line between going fast enough to win, and staying on, Dungey needs to step it up a bit i reckon, he is being to cautious, but he salvaged a decent result after having to come through the LCQ
i think RV still needs to compete to win tho, still a lot of races to go, 23 points is not that much
RV has one the most main events this year with 4,
most awesome thing about this series is how competitive and close it is,

Agree 100%, RV still needs to ride to win, only takes one main event, whether it be mechanical failure or rider error to get a DNF and just like that everyone is back in, i think it will go down to Vegas this year.
As for JS, i think he was really just out to make a statement yesterday, after gaping RV it think he wanted to extend that to 20+ sec and just show everyone what they had to deal with from then on, unfortunately this did not pan out for him. JS will be back next weekend and hes going to be on the gas!

i agree with you on this, but Stewart needs to change the way he thinks at times, this is the 3rd big mistake of the last 4 races, (landing on JT Money, leaving the door open/ not realising Reed was there, and now this crash while pushing harder than he needed to) he has done from leading the series, to being 23 points down,
will be interesting to see Stewart next week at Indy, i bet he feels like hes been run over by a truck this morning, and with only a week rest he will need to be 100% next week,

Agree with you Scott if JS doesn't get his full race together RV will score to many points! I must say for me before I started watching AMA I thought Bubba was a bit of a Showboat but the more I see of him the more respect I have for his skill dedication and attitude!
You where right about Short to 4th might not be to long before we see a Ktm on the podium LOL!!!
BTW: Love the coverage! great camera work! Love the moving camera along the straight! Great track layout and surface good test for the riders aye!! Good job Ricky Carmichael I reckon.
Bring on round 10!!

Yeah thats one of the best thing about Daytona is the mule camera angle, unfortunately its the only race of the season that has this :(

Nasty crash that.
Not enjoying RV getting 'easy' wins. Not that winning on that track would be easy mind you.
Still, championship is going to be pretty interesting from here on in.

Run a good heat race, get a good main start, get on the gas to put some fast laps in, and ride mistake free on a track which caught a lot of 250 and 450 riders out is not easy. He still would of got second and still been leading the series.
Last week he didn't get the greatest of starts but sat behind 7 & 22 and they wern't pulling away, if he'd got the hole shot he'd prob led 20 laps.
Stewart is stupid fast, but watching his heat you could see he was going to have a lie down at some point. He didn't need to ride that aggresive. Still great to watch and incredible to see him in the top 10.
