What does that mean?

Oh - now i get it - my artwork, whew, i thought you meant the dri rider kit.

you can't offend me mate - I make enough disposable art to keep me riding cool motorcycles. :ride:

To tell the truth,I spent a long time just gazing at the artwork and layout, letting my subconcious mind absorb the perfection,my fingers feeling the quality of the paper - I passed it around, and I tell you,the guys were just dumbstruck with awe...the pictures, the way the words flow, from red to black, the subtle change in sizing, the discrete pricing - we judged it best flyer of the month.

Then I chucked it in the bin.

Not used it - but it does look very good. Was impressed with the style when we photographed it.

I find it just a tad slippery, I think I'll stick to newsprint. Although it does leave a black ring.

justsomeguy
24th June 2005, 14:52
So anyone who buy that 1 piece - is it any good??

And can't the people compile a pdf of the catalog and post it here or something...

Don't get the catalogue where I live..........................................must be too poor an area....

The guys at motomail are working diligently to get an e-commerce facility up and running on their web site.
they are quite close to operational with it.

Their focus has been more on promotions like the ones attached than the full 200+ pager.

There has been no new catalogue for a while - Chris says perhaps later in the year for the next one.

Send an email to sales@motomail.co.nz and say that 'big dave' said 'put me on the database or there will be trouble.' and I'll follow it up.

That is a reasonably rare pleasure, unfortunately.
Just on my Tbird at the moment.

Trophy is in bits for its 80,000km refurbishment. I've ridden it twice today - dig that dri rider stuff.

We still haven't done the Sprint ST photo shoot so I'll have that baby again for a day soon. Apart from that I'll scrounge.

Was talking to honda about their upcoming CB1300R retro and doing a comparo with an original CB1000R, but we haven't been able to find the latter in good nick.
I did an article comparing the CB900 hornet and a '73 CB750 last year. And old and new Bonneviles

Have you still got that article stashed away somewhere Big Dave - I'd be keen for a read, if possible.

Ok people - go out and buy that $99 1 piece......

It's effin awesome and warm and comfy........

At around $1.60 on the motorway it felt as warm as it did standing still....... lovely thing...... fully waterproof too:yes:

And for us guys the zip goes pretty low - or low enough - so we can go to the toilet without and serious contortions.....

Only thing is they have L, XL and XXL - but they're a bit on the smaller scale - cos the L fits me perfectly

I'm stoked with it, it feels just as good as my stupid cordura jacket and pant which cost nearly ten times that........ .........

I might just have to buy something to replace my ill-fitting/holes innit leather jacket now. Is the teknic kit worth the extra $250 over the dririder?

Ok...when you say smaller scale how much smaller are we talking? :)

Ok probably never going to fit me since I come between a small and Medium, but worth asking.

Not really - except a belt with a clip/latch buckle

....... it's a simple affair .......although it's on special for 99 which makes it a good buy - I don't think it's worth much more either.....so basically you are getting what you pay for ..... a cheap suit --- but one that does it's job and meets the minimum requirements.

Cool chears. I was really only considering it since it looks like it'd be easy enough to slip over my day clothes, really should get a deceint jacket/pants.

Guess I'll give it a miss then. Still it is tempting to get one anyway and hopefully sell it on if it didn't fit at all..

Got mine today also.
Went for a short ride after work just to try it out in the cooler part of the day... :Punk:
Warm as toast :ride:
Found it a bit slippery on the seat must be the waterproofing.
Should be another frost tomorrow will see what its like then.
The suit is a bit of a squeeze getting into it across my shoulders, but once on fits like a glove.
First time I have had any form of armour in my riding gear.
Arm length is good my gloves cover the cuffs though the length of the leg could be a bit longer but I find that problem with most trou

The guy at Motormail said that the sizing was generous when I asked over the phone, I'd hate to have a meal at his place
