Hi all
New to Kiwi Biker and keen for any rides in Christchurch from time to time. Just purchased an 2005 Honda NRX1800 (Rune with a ridiculous 294km on the clock) and enjoyed a sweet ride from Dunedin to CHCH this weekend.
Cheers

keep an eye out for the local wed night ride,
and the week end "classics" ride, the riders are the classics, not the bikes.
Also there are the odd rallys that we group ride to that you could join into.

As Subike said, there's a regular ride every Wednesday evening, and often on Sundays as well, and then the first Sunday of the month is the classic ride, although you don't actually have to ride a classic, they're just generally a bit slower for the older bikes, and we end up at a museum.
The Wednesday night ride thread is here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php/128852-Wednesday-Night-Ride), and the classic run thread is here (http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/showthread.php/130453-Classic-run-in-Christchurch).
Anyways, welcome to KiwiBiker! :)

Welcome to KB.
Congrats on the new bike.
With only 249km, the owner must have been scared of it
Quite a looker eh!

Scared of it? No.
Remember the guy who stole a shitload of money off the Otago DHB or whatever it was, and all his assets and shit were seized?
This was his bike.
It was sold at auction a week or two ago, along with all his other impounded assets.
I am familiar with this bike, the guy who sold it is a friend of mine.
Hope you enjoy it, very unique bike, and its in bloody good nick too.
Enjoy, and welcome to the site
