What sort of accomodation is available near the track? Motels, motorcamps / cabins / pubs?? Thinking about coming down ( assuming I survive Roy's Hill, Tokoroa the next weekend, and then Kiatoke.)

Camp ground just down the road at the outskirts of Upper Hutt.
We'll probably pitch a tent there if we make the trip down this year.
They also have motel unit type things.

Shit, we live local but I'm tempted to just go to the camp ground so we can get on the... ahh... umm... discuss deeply important social matters at great length...

If we come down I'll look forward to some deeply philosophical discussions.
I assume you guys are going to pass on the Tokoroa round of the midnight rollerblading champs, what with the distance and Helen being a bit bent at the moment. We've stocked up so that we can continue arguing about the rules on every corner.

Yeah, Tokaroa is out but I'm sure happy to debate the finer points of what constitutes a corner around Easter time.

Ploody honky, it's TOKOROA....
We do have a floor or space for a matress if anyone does need a bit more 'comfort' for their nights stay.... Lets us know.
