So, first post.

I've been lurking on here for a while, got my learners months ago and have been saving up for a bike and keeping my eye on trademe.

I've found one but I live on the wrong island and even if I could check it out I wouldn't know what to look for.

Is there any chance someone could take a look for me in Mission Bay, Auckland?

Are you prepared to accept the cost and risk of buying and shipping a bike unseen to Nelson?

If it's a trademe thing, post the url and lets be having a look at it.
If you don't get anyone else closer than Sth Dorkland drop us a pm with the details and I'll see what I can do.Not a mechanic, but have a few clues.

This is it.

I'll be in Auckland from Thursday to Sunday this week and hope to have time to see it for myself so if no one can look at it for me can you let me know what to look out for?

Hell Yes complain to tardme! This is totaslly unacceptable behaviour from someone using thier site to sell things, to simply go aqnd give the item to another bidder, but not the winning bidder.INCREDIBLE.
Have a go mate.

The seller is also leaving the country today. It's already in the possession of the other bidder. Back to looking I guess. Wasn't that easy finding something decent in the $1800-$2300 range.

Is it yours? Looks better than the one I was gonna get. Just an extra 5 years old.

No, mine is big and blue.
For someone on a budget though, that is worth a look.
