Have been speaking to Phil and we have a loose plan :woohoo: A bit of a show of interest please in a muddy ride either first or second weekend in May :scooter:
It will be big bike do-able (I only fell off once or maybe twice but the second time don't count because I was still getting over the last time ok ) But  KNOBS PLEASE
All those keen make a noise and we will make it happen :corn:

nothing booked at this stage,so its sounding good to me so far:yes:

24th March 2011, 16:50
I am semi keen depending on dates.
But I have 2 options with the knobblies.
Either leave them in the garage or
Slowly disperse them all over the tarmac on the southern motorway.
That looks like fun
24th March 2011, 17:14
Provided we dont have two weeks of rain prior any half good knobbly will do. The mud is not really that bad but its a bit more than dual sports will deal with.
As I pointed out I have taken the Beemer through these tracks and if she can do it you can too nic. See ya in May

Mud? Phil said I am not allowed to mention mud again Joe :innocent: The ride will be starting Wanganui - ish (note older style uncultural spelling ) and ending Eltham - ish.
It is going to be a mix of Gravel, farm tracks, and clay surface paper roads. With a little bit of Tarseal thrown in just for fun. If the weather is dry the whole ride could be done on dual sports, as the clay rds are not big up and down hill type roads.
Clay being clay it gets slippery when wet :shit: So knobblies are a must.
Its not going to be as bad as Fishers
There is a lot of awesome country side to see and a bit of history as well.
As I have pointed out I have done the ride on the Beemer. If her and I can do it, anyone can
Now that the Pukemanu is out the way Phil and I can get on with the plans and we may even post a few more tempting photos :woohoo:

If we won’t slow you all down too much, Penny and I could be keen for this. Will you be 2-up on the Beemer Phil? How will it compare to Pukemanu?

If its really shitty we can amend our plan on the "fly". In the dry it should be easy. If wet? Like I said , in the dry:D
