all up five but I did put new valves in it this year.

Yeah deposited him on the ground pretty quickly too. These generator engines are fickle beasts, - have to keep your hand hovering over the clutch lever all the time. Sort of Chinese whispering death. (maybe the older ones will get that)

Did you ever find any better valve springs? That might have been the issue. Looks like it will take some bigger valves.

Get some wound ? There is a dude around welly somewhere, that does just that.
