Well, it was nice this morning. 'kin cold :cold: at present, wet and miserable. Unless things dramatically improve tomorrow, i will be staying at home, and getting to know my heater :)

Yep, -5 is pretty cold. 'bout as cold as Chch gets. I'm going to try for at least a short run tomorrow as I've been playing with the suspension on the FZR. My helper and I put in shorter 'dog bones' in the rear linkage today to raise the rear end and hopefully improve the balance and quicken the steering. I didn't get to go for a run on it as she-who-must-be-obeyed was out shopping with my daughter and my boy Zach was asleep. However my helper went for a run before and after- bloody hoon! With quotes like "must be something on that corner- nearly lost the back end" and "bloody black ice up on the hill" or "it wheelies nicely" and "definitely something on that corner- both ends went that time", and my personal favourite "she's certainly got the legs- 200k in third...", I'm really not sure if I should let this particular hoon on my poor old bike again... :motu:

Yep- glad I couldn't see or hear what he was up to- might have cried watching my baby get abused like that....do you know the hoon to whom I am referring then?

As for the cold- you should get some heated grips D- the 'hoon' commented that he didn't notice the black ice till it was nearly too late as his hands weren't cold...
