:woohoo: Well not long to go now before we fnd out who the Winners will be in each class of this years National Championship even if the Superbike Class is Done and Dusted already.
It sure has been a very topsy turvey Championship with the weather playing havoc at some of the Rounds.
Here's hoping that Fielding can have the Sun Shining :sunny: for both days and that the spectators turn up in their droves to support all of those riders who will no doubt be out there putting on some Awesome Racing for them to watch.
Goodluck to all Riders competiting this weekend.:woohoo:

Good point, Hampton downs was entertaining, the Stroud kids went off and caught some frogs. Come prize giving Andrew went up to collect his awards, NZTT Geoff Perry memorial etc and some of the kids accompanied him.
It's hard enough to keep from stepping on one of the kids at the best of times in a busy hallway, but with them helping carry all his silverware, and their frogs which were also keen on hopping around it was mayhem I tell ya!
But mayhem in a bloody good way though...

Are you commentating at Manfeild Spyda ?

You'll be well pleased I have put my race number on each side fairing for ya !!

Now you have to mention me lots and lots, even if I only make the midfield !!

Haven't been asked at this stage but will be there and keen to do it especially after HD's brilliant racing in nearly all the classes.
Cheers
for doing the race numbers. As a commentator we have the luxury of checking on what bikes what via the timing setup and then I don't usually need the numbers having recognised the bike/rider colour scheme etc.
For spectators the numbers are hugely important. When we call out a name they check the program for the number and want to see who it is. That's where it's needed as the spectators lose interest if they can't foloow the riders
hope more people get their numbers up there
cheers

Woulda been keen to play but the only time I've touched the bike in the last coupla months is to push it from one shed into another. Now if only Manawatu-Orion had run Clubman's instead of those blardy chook chasers......

$20.00 for Sunday for a Full Day of Close and Exciting Racing to me is $20.00 well worth spent. You have to remember it is a National Event and going to the Speedway for a few hours of Racing cost more than $20.00.
Your choice if you dont go but I can honestly tell you the weather is looking ok for it and I know that l am going to enjoy every minute of being there.
Bring it on. :yes::woohoo:

I haven't been able to find one. If it's any help, the NZSBK front page (http://www.nzsbk.com/) says "Full days racing on Sunday from 10am." and the NZSBK dates & venues page (http://www.nzsbk.com/p/datesvenues.html) says "Racing Starts. 9am".

Hey Leanne, just come on down, there's no doubt a few points races on saturday for the classes with three points races and the qualifying for Superbikes and 600's.
Stauffer just left my place a few minutes ago heading up there ready for action and I'd personally like to see Shirriffs get some form and show them the way around the track too.
get on the road and do it...

All classes are very poorly subscribed to, rider appathy is the culpret. There's more than enough bikes stashed around the place, the rules have been relaxed to accomodate more competitors, extra classes have been put on, and yet the numbers still dwindle.

We'll be lucky to have a proper nation wide National championship next year is my prediction.

I dont care what anyone says. We are still in a recession and disposable income is getting smaller and smaller while costs are getting greater and greater. NZ is in a big hole right now and hobbies are the first to take the hit. Hopefully it will improve but I cant see it for the next few years

Well done Fielding.:sunny:
Craig Shirriffs you rode Fantastic in your 1st Race yesterday and it was a well deserve win to you, just a shame it all fell to bits for you in Race 2.
Congratulations to all the riders out there who did their best and to those riders who went home with a prize.

Thought I better say a big thanks to the Manawatu Orion MC club for putting on a great weekend. So well organised it was a great compliment to the club how smoothly it ran. Even with a couple of red flagged races they still didn't run over schedule.

Wish I could say the same for prize giving. What a joke, waited around for an extra 4 hours thinking that winning a class for a weekend may get a mention. The 5th placed motard rider got a prize, round winner of F3 didn't even get a mention let alone a chance to thank his sponsors. Glad I am getting out of the sport!

Excellent riding BTW!
