Hi all,

Just wondering if i could have some help,

The er6n i brought was registered in '05, but on Wiki (which we all know is the most trustworthy source of information) says the er6n was released in '06, and as well as this, when im looking at parts etc everythings starts at the '06 er6. So is my bike actually an 06 model? OR Will the 06 model aftermarket parts fit my bike (frame sliders etc).

Thanks for any clarification

Danielle

I would say there wont be any difference with aftermarket parts.
If you really need to confirm what year it is, just take your frame number (or bike) into a kwaka dealer so they can ask Mr Kawasaki.
The frame number is the number stamped into the frame on the right hand side of the steering head (incase you didnt know already)
But im pretty confident that there wont be any difference.
Good luck.

Think you will find the "release" publicity of the "2006" ER6n occured in June 2005 and the first bikes were sold late 2005. From memory mine, which I purchased in Feb 2006 was first registered in Dec 2005. Think that model continued through into 2009. Given your location and the bike recently being on trademe could be similar to this.

I have a 2008 model KLR650 which was registered in July 07. Something to do with Kawasakis slightly weird year designation which aligns with the USA "riding season"
