Cool! Looks like around 208hp at the wheel, wonder if the power delivery resembles a light switch?
Ahh if only i had the skill to utilise something like this!
Wonder if the bike produces like 20-30hp at idle.

Yea, my mates dads mate... Has a turbo harley night train, reckons it makes boost at idle, pretty cool for a harley!
Burnout at ever traffic lights? Nice!

*sigh* so tempting to own something like that... Unfortunately my license is necessary for work... otherwise, it would be a distant memory of a dream...
Curves don't seem too bad, bit interesting at 6k rpm, and it looks like it comes on boost around 5k... In reality, compared to modern bikes, 208rwhp actually isn't that much, considering the work... could be a very mild state of tune.
I remember a certain someone coming close to getting a muzzy 500hp ZX10R... didn't finish the necessary payments, so never got it... Apparently it was a normal 10 until about 6k, then it lost all traction. Tyre life was expected to be around 500-800km. :sunny:

Haha shit yea! I know what you mean tho, were would you ever get to open it up? It says on the website its a 'mild' state of tune, wonder what the boost is set at...
Still would def have something crazy like this just for the fuck of havin it (when lotto comes my way of course) Im all for crazy pointless shit!

Having ridden a K4 GSXR1000 with a very nice turbo setup, and 223 RWHP, I can tell you that if it's done right, it feels just like a K4Thou but with 70 extra horsepower where ever you are in the rev range.

Alex Gee's description of the bike is ah rather ah informative?
Gems like 'styled in the sportsbike genre developed in the 1990's', and 'it has provision for pillion mounts', and 'it was built entirely as a custom machine using OE lighting components'. Really.

Its not a bad setup, the intake plenum looks nice. The question is why has he gone to all the effort to get it at a mild tune state? Looks like the tune needs another day of fine tuning on the dyno then a street tune which will be fun and time consuming!
Id love to do something like that one day, probobly change a few things from what he has done tho. Like use water to air intercooler. Less lag uses less space and has better cooling.
ah to many other projects on the list
Still very cool!

I've never forgotten your account of it, down the drag strip, somewhere on KB. Backing off the throttle and having the front lift higher, as it was already on boost...

I am beginning a project turbocharging my 2000 Duke 900ss. I have just taken possession of an Aerocharger from the states. Self oiling, no wastgate, variable vane. Anyone else know of a similar project on the go or finished. Any war stories would help. Cheers

My flatmate has a GSX1400 turbo its a tad over 200RWHP, boost comes on a bit before 4500rpm then its an awesome but very rideable rush to however fast you wanna go, the big zook is stable as, its very unasuming as the turbo(nissan) fits nicely under the seat!
Bike is well set up with Brembo's, Hi Point wheels,USD front etc.

The turbo fits under the seat? If so, it'll be as laggy as hell with pipe length like that?

Laggy? pffft it aint a car, Factory 1400s are 126nm from 2500rpm, now pic of Hi Point ( now called Carrozeria ) pic of pod filter, your just gonna have to believe the turbo sits nice and discreetly under the seat, much tidier set up than crap hanging off the front with clearance issues with front wheel.236922236923236924236925

That is fucking awesome! A very interesting way of doing it, what turbo is on it? Being from a Nissan I imagine it's a T28bb? They were a very nice turbo, like the RHB5 or 6 weren't they?
