Any riding instructors in Nelson?

A mate of mine (who used to ride) has a 22yr old son who has just bought an R1 Yamaha. :facepalm: I know what the father is thinking but out of respect, neither of us are saying it.

The young chap lives and works in Nelson. Is there a motorcycle riding instructor in the area or anyone who might give him some pointers? The son has trailbike riding experience so an R1 should be a piece of cake...right??

Just to give a little context, a close relative of the family has already been involved in a tragic accident, funeral, court hearing, home detention...no fun.
