Went to Taupo on Friday and had a free go on a Can Am Spyder. It was definitely a different experience, especially for the wife as pillion, she started screaming for me to stop (I noticed eventually, well, I was having fun) and she rode back in the car that was following, I think it has happened before:yes: Rather like riding a quad bike...at speed, the roll was something to get used to, the brakes are good but a bit unnerving not having a lever next your right hand. I'm sure they wouldn't suit most bikers but if it floats your boat I'm sure there's a market. And did I mention it was free.

If i was not enjoying riding two wheels, or could not, and could afford it I would get one without a blink :blink:

I was reading somewhere they are working on one, thats connected it up so the body hinges?(for a better word) and it has the same sensation as leaning like a two wheeled bike....cool.

Being lucky enough to ride one every time the fancy takes me, I can certainly see their place. They've made "motorcycling" (they're not really, I know) accessable to sooooo many people who want to ride bikes but for whatever reason are unable. Great fun to ride and can be modified really well also.
