For all the shit we give each other mate, I'm really stoked for ya. Finally, that ellusive first Superbike win at NZSBK Nationals, so close so many times but you sure spanked 'em all fair and square, in good conditions today.

Excellent stuff, can't wait for race two :D

And to think the commentator said that "if Craig fell in a barrell of nipples he would come out sucking his own thumb" (reflecting the season to date)

good racing dude !!

Yep was bloody great to watch:yes: Was gutted when ya went down in race 2 Craig, the bike wanted to keep going though, here's hoping next year gives ya a shitload of a better crack at showing what you obviously can do.

Fantastic riding mr Shirriffs!

I was standing at turn one in first race and was witnessing some epic 'backing it in' moves that not even a motard could match :headbang:

Yep, one of the highlights of the weekend. He and Stroudy have set the NZ standard for the last few years and it didn't seem a fair reflection that he hadn't cracked an NZSBK win. :niceone:

Yeah, congratulations Craig on that first win, good effort from your bike to keep going after you got off in the second race too! Just goes to show it doesn't matter how good the bike is it still needs to be ridden :innocent:
Well done mate. You got the biggest applause last night for your efforts :wings:

And he thoroughly deserved that applause. Well done to Stroudy for engineering that, absolutely no-one that i know of would begrudge Craig that win, totally on merit.

As usual Spyder came up with some classics.
Had the stand in hysterics at times....
I had a couple of future riders behind me cheering Craig on so loudly I'm sure he could hear it going into turn 1......

Well done Craig... Top effort for race one.
Shame about your off in R2... it was right in front of where I was standing too...

Clearly Suzuki are taking their electronic rider aids seriously this year. I must admit in this case, the bike does appear faster without him. What was the bikes best lap time? :innocent:
