Just arrived back from a stunning 7 day ride/fishing trip. The weather was very generous, even at the end when it was meant to pack up it stayed warm and dry. New tracks were ridden, new places explored, lots of fish seen, many were caught, and many new places scratched down for future trips. Here are a few photos…

Thanks mate :) nothing too flash, a Cannon SX130IS. For the price it is well endowed with features including reasonably adaptable full manual settings while still having a sound automatic feature so you can whip it out and quickly capture those moments when your mate just happens to have a spill right in front of you :p

Certainly worth a look mate, I'd recommend GPS files for a smooth trip, there are lots and lots of side tracks for powerline maintenance that can lead you up the garden path. Clumsy thumbs I accidentally deleted my route file when clearing my log, needless to say I had a few interesting detours, but in saying that by doing so I found some gnarly steep loose rutty tracks in the back, lots'o'fun

Pouring hours into getting the interactive Google map functioning nicely, very close though my friend. I have a swag of GPS files and routes to add, should have her up for public viewing/testing within the next 3 to 4 weeks

Well this man could do with a bit of gold riches, care to share some GPS coordinates to these ample supplies of gold Night Falcon :innocent:

Yeah, pity about the timing mate, there were plenty of trout with your name written all over them. Got an Easter trip in the planning stages, aiming for something a little gnarly, will keep you posted with the details :niceone:

Before winter forced the closure of some of the Otago High Country tracks three of us ventured down south for one last ride. With being so close to winter and having two good snow dumps a few weeks prior there was a chance this trip could have been cancelled however the weather treated us very well making for a brilliant weekend... pics as below

Hi Chris, yeah it sure is a great place, one of my favourites. I GPS logged this ride and others nearby and will have the files available for download in around 2 weeks when the adventure website goes live, will keep you posted, cheers
