lost mine on the 8k loop after lunch.
it's a black sony dsc-tx5.
tried to go and look for it so missed out doing the main afternoon track, morning was a pretty good blast. Made a nice change from the last couple of more technical Wairarapapa rides.
cheers

Bad luck, hope it turns up.
Actually I'll thread burgle, I had intended a thread on this ride.
My personal take & much as I hate to criticise any of the good folk organising rides. . .
Mt Biggs. There wasn't any mountain to be seen & it was largely blasting over paddocks between gates. Morning was a 60km loop, which sounds lot but not for that style riding. There was some ok area through an almost forest, but it was single file & with heaps of riders a 12 kilometre per hour procession. You may note that I wrote that long hand without abbreviation. There was plenty of time to ponder & estimate the speed. And then they kept stopping the ride. Well twice, once at the fuel stop 1/2 way & then again when we had climbed a hill & waited for gate to be opened when the lead rider was satisfied everyone had caught up.
Why? To make the ride needlessly congested & boring? To prolong the frustration & dangerous overtaking moves of the MX riders & intimidation of the novices?
Who knows.
Then on top of that we had past the 40 km marker & we were finally getting a bit spaced out after a few A loops, but then we passed the 30km Gate again. WTF?! So have I missed a turn off on the A loop? Will we run out of gas doing more dull loops? Turns out they were reusing some of the ride & changed the course further on, but no one knew this, no mention at the briefing. All they had to do was make the sign '30 & 42km home track'. So people were milling around wondering what was happening. They were riding back the original track to see if we got back the way we first came. It was stupid & dangerous.
I went home at lunch, wasn't keen for more of the same. Horowhenua rides are much better run. That Tinui ride wasn't bad either, although they did make one hill a bit hard for the masses.

doesn't look good, the farmer took down the markers today and didn't see it. looked at some nice new models today :)

true. i nearly gave it a miss coz we knew it would be a bit of a paddock blast, but i quite enjoyed it, still jealous of the guys who can do wheel stands the length of the paddocks.
we got there late and were right at the back and with stopping to take pics the traffic was pretty good.

yeah that was a weird one, maybe was marked and got knocked down?

Apiti is too far for this boy so masterton more likely, unless I do the 2 stroke road ride.
Or it keeps raining like this.

oh yeah, so there is. Not my most fav ride, but it is close to home. Those hard clay tracks on the other side get hella slippery if wet.

I wish I had seen it, but I managed to get in quick enough to do two laps of the 8km loop and I was going at a pretty decent pace for me.
I don't think I saw much at all I was concentrating so hard
Hope someone hands it in for you dude!
