Nice link Padmei.

Not quite vintage, but definitely old school, for me the DR750/800 is one of the coolest looking old school Dakar bikes ever made, monstrous awesomeness

I kid you not, if I was a big enough lad to handle riding one of these beasts I'd own one without a doubt, absolutely love em, but I'm all of 4 foot 3 inches high on a tall day <_<

I still got to ride it.
If I had the loose change, and a tolerance for orange bikes, Oscars 625 would be sitting in my garage now.

IfI didn't have one already I'd be all over that one - cool tank, mono rear end, forks don't matter cos it'll be a forks swap job.

Damn I may even stretch to four bikes if the price stays low.

There's a muffler sitting in the shed mate that I took of the DR in 1992 when the Zorsts went on, I'll fish it out and have a look at it for ya I think I filled it with oil way back then so it might still be alright.

Werewolf had a ride on it, seemed to manage o.k. and you're 3 inches taller than him :shutup:Yebbut I wasn't paying attention when they said you have to get your feet flat on the ground. Doesn't worry me if my feet miss by 3 cm or 30 cm, I'm still gonna ride the fcuker! :scooter:
